From Entertainment Weekly, we now have our first look at Liam Neeson as Zeus in the upcoming CLASH OF THE TITANS, and it’s probably not the thunder god you were expecting. No flowing white hair and toga here, Neeson’s Zeus looks like he hopped out of the elf boat from LOTR, as he dons leafy golden armor and much younger-looking brown locks.
Logical paradoxes of an immortal god needing to wear battle armor aside, he does look rather cool, as does what appears to be the Olympus war room he’s standing in. The only thing Neeson needs to work on is standing up straight, because slouching is not the posture of the gods.
