DAYBREAKERS is the vampire film to be on the lookout for. The story centers around Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke) a vampire blood chemist who is trying to find a way to save vampires and humans when the world is running out of human blood. As the human race nears extinction because the vampires have taken over the majority of the population, Edward teams up with the human resistance led by Elvis (Willem Defoe). They must find a way to save humanity before the vampires take over.
I sort of expected the norm glamorous vampire but this one is rather disgusting. It now has me more interested in the movie than I was before. That and Sam Neill playing the bad guy vampire executive. The movie will be out in January and might give those sparkle vamps a run for their money.
