Halle Berry vs. shark

JoBloJoBlo

It’s probably safe to assume that we won’t see Halle Berry back as Storm, Catwoman or Bond babe Jinx, but that doesn’t mean she’s done with action.

Berry provides her Oscar-winning hotness to DARK TIDE, a thriller being directed by Clark Johnson (S.W.A.T., “The Shield”).

The story will require the actress to be wet and clad in skintight/nominal attire — it conerns “a diving instructor who returns to the deep after a near-fatal incident with a Great White shark.” Is it a JAWS-style cat-and-mouse deal? Is she haunted by the memories of her Elasmobranchii experience? Did it seem the logical step after SWORDFISH?

The indie project comes from TWILIGHT producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, with a budget between $15 and $20 million. Which seems kinda low for an A-list star, but just right if they’re also hiring Lorenzo Lamas.
