M. Night Shyamalan must be on his last legs right now, so it makes sense that he is talking again about making a sequel to UNBREAKABLE, by far the best work of his career. Yeah, that’s right, I said it. Here’s what he’s saying:
“I don’t know where all the parties are in the world. Sam [Jackson] is like ‘Mr. Comic Book’ now. And Bruce, I don’t know what he’s up to. I don’t know where Disney’s at in their head and what kind of movies they’re up for making. But yeah, I love that movie.”
I don’t know where you guys stand on his body of work but I’m sure I’ll find out in the strike-backs shortly. Me though? I flat out love UNBREAKABLE. But even so I think it works best as it is. So I’m not sure I’m down with another film. I don’t trust Shammy to do his own shit justice anymore.
