Neeson leads A-Team?

JoBloJoBlo

Looks like the plan really is coming together.

Moments after the news that Bradley Cooper is up for “Face Man” in Joe Carnahan’s A-TEAM flick comes word that acclaimed actor and consistent badass Liam Neeson will be chomping on George Peppard’s leftover stogies as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith.

The Fox flick is being produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, and will retain the premise (wrongly convicted war veterans become mercenaries) but is ditching the TV show’s campy tone for a more MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE flavoring.

The movie is already slotted for release next June, so remaining cast members should be rolling in soon, probably on some kind of hastily constructed makeshift military vehicle.
