I won’t lie — I’m not crazy about “fan films.” I would much prefer to see aspiring filmmakers spend their time, talent, energy and money on original concepts rather than simply present another version of something created and owned by others.
But I also can’t argue with the astounding popularity of the Dark Knight himself, so here’s a look at ASHES TO ASHES, a slick-looking French Batman fan film that also features Joker and Harley Quinn (and liberally emulates the gritty “living graphic novel” style of SIN CITY).
