Statham still a Killer

JoBloJoBlo

Jason Statham seems to have found a fairly successful formula: kick, punch and shoot nearly everyone in your path. And hey, you don’t screw with whatever works.

And thus, Statham remains in action with THE KILLER ELITE, a $40 million thriller by commercials director Gary McKendry. However, the movie is not a remake of Sam Peckinpah’s 1975 flick (featuring James Caan and Robert Duvall), but is instead based on a book called “The Featherman”, about a group of former British special forces soldiers being hunted by assassins.

Statham is also on tap to step in as the new Chuck Bronson in the remake of THE MECHANIC, and will next be seen in the remake of the French action-thriller 13, bringing his remake total to six.
