Rourke goes Rogue

JoBloJoBlo

As people like Vin Diesel will cheerfully demonstrate, the line between Hollywood and videogames continues to blur.

Mickey Rourke is the latest to get digitized, though not quite in the same 8-bit way as in THE WRESTLER. Rourke is loaning his raspy voice to the lead character of the upcoming military action game ROGUE WARRIOR from Bethesda, the company behind last years critical smash FALLOUT 3.

Rourke will throw vocals as Richard “Demo Dick” Marchinko, a real-life former Navy SEAL and founder of Team Six. The next-gen game finds Marchinko on “a clandestine operation to disrupt a suspected North Korean ballistic missile program,” only to uncover a conspiracy that takes him into Russia for additional killing and destruction. The game is due later this year.
