Al Pacinapoleon?

JoBloJoBlo

Height-challenged film legend Al Pacino has plans to portray an equally stature-deficient historical figure, famed French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

The project is based on Staton Rabin’s children’s book “BETSY AND THE EMPEROR,” in which the 19th century military leader bonds with an adventurous teenage girl (woohoo!) during his exile after Waterloo. The movie will be directed by John Curran (THE PAINTED VEIL).

Pacino, still recovering from the twin scrote-slap of 88 MINUTES and RIGHTEOUS KILL, has also been in the mix to portray other notable characters/humans such as painter Salvador Dali and Shakespeare’s King Lear. He’s also been busy directing a “re-imagining” of Oscar Wilde’s SALOME. How can someone so well-read make GIGLI?
