Justin Long Distance

JoBloJoBlo

Judging by his pending filmography, Justin Long is one busy kid (he’s got a half-dozen movies awaiting release). Throw another one in the queue!

After his success in the romantic comedy genre with HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU, Long is taking another dip in the love pool with GOING THE DISTANCE, a New Line romcom about “a man and woman in a long-distance relationship who ultimately come to the realization that they would be happier dating someone closer to home.”

Hopefully Long can elevate that uninspired logline to something moderately amusing. Adam Shankman (THE PACIFIER) is producing the hypothetical comedy from director Nanette Burstein (THE KID STAYS IN THE PICTURE). Long next appears in DRAG ME TO HELL, another romantic comedy, I think.
