Since I haven’t seen STOMP THE YARD, I have no idea what triggered the demand for Columbus Short, but the young actor sure seems to be all over the place.
According to Blackfilm, Short is now one of THE LOSERS, the Warner Bros./Dark Castle adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comic series. The story revolves around a team of former CIA operatives on the hunt for the shadowy double agent who left them for dead.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (WATCHMEN) is playing the leader Clay, while Short will play Pooch, the steadfast pilot/driver of the group (which leaves sniper, hacker, traitor and crazy knife chick positions still unoccupied).
Short’s presence isn’t terribly surprising — after all, his STOMP director Sylvain White is handling the black ops. Now they face the difficult task of figuring out how to work fashionably skewed athletic caps into the story.
