Seagal: reality TV star

JoBloJoBlo

When your steady string of low-budget direct-to-DVD flicks aren’t enough to fill your schedule and wallet, where do you go? Reality TV, of course.

Aging action star and aikido master Steven Seagal is bringing his ponytail and considerable bulk to the small screen for a new A&E series called “STEVEN SEAGAL: LAWMAN”. Set in New Orleans, the series will follow Seagal as a “fully commissioned deputy” who, one assumes, fights crime with his flailing fists and extra necks.

The show will air in late 2009 and also chronicle Seagal’s “off duty” life in the Big Easy, where he plays blues guitar, engages in charitable activities, and consumes many baignets and po’boys.
