McQuarrie’s Monster

Christopher McQuarrie (THE USUAL SUSPECTS) is set to write THE MONSTER OF FLORENCE and THE CHAMPIONS. “MONSTER” tells the true story of author Douglas Preston who shortly after moving to Italy in 2000, learned that the olive grove on his property had been the scene of a brutal murder. He set out to investage the crime that was part of a series of eight double homicides between 1968-85. “CHAMPIONS” is based on an old British TV series about a team of secret government agents who are rescued from a Himalayan plane crash by an advanced civilization and given superhuman abilities. Of course, since the project deals with advanced civilizations and special powers, Guillermo Del Toro is producing.

Look guys, I know we don’t always see eye to eye on things, but I’d like to think that for once we agree that we all have much love for any man who, in the first ten minutes of a movie, has Ryan Phillippe shout the line “Shut that c-nt’s mouth or I’ll come over there and f-ckstart her head!”
