In The Spirit of Art

JoBloJoBlo

Although THE SPIRIT has been receiving bad buzz since its less than stellar performance at Comic Con, one can’t help but applaud the film’s marketing campaign, which is artfully done to say the least. The Spirit Art School Program is a partnership between Lionsgate and nine prestigious art schools in The States that will see the creation of 9 aesthetically unique posters as a lead up to the film. The first is done by some students from the Art Institute of California-San Diego and good god is it ever awesome. The blend of gothic, pop art seems to work in tow with everything else I’ve seen of the film and I can only look forward to feasting on what the other eight schools have to offer.
