New Strangers poster!

Continuing our trend of helping you find an excuse NOT to go see SEX AND THE CITY with your significant other, we bring you more goods from THE STRANGERS! Opening on May 30 (same as SATC), STRANGERS puts Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman on the receiving end of some home invaders. It’s like FUNNY GAMES without all the artsy fartsy shit. Next week we’ll have interviews with the stars as well as our review of the film but today we’ve got a look at a new teaser poster for the film. I actually think this is a bus shelter/outdoor type poster to be used in conjunction with this other teaser. Things don’t look like they’re going to well for Liv here… Thanks for scooper “Le Bomb” for sending it in!

Those hound dogs over at Fangoria got their hands on the brand new poster for the film THE STRANGERS. I gotta say, it looks pretty damn cool – it’s tough for anything that features Liv Tyler to look bad. It does look as though Rogue pictures is pushing the “inspired by true events” bit more than usual, as I’ve read a few articles where that angle is being emphasized, but hey, as long as it’s scary, who gives a f*ck.

THE STRANGERS was written and directed by first timer Bryan Bertino. In the film, Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman star as a couple who, while staying in a remote house in the woods, are attacked by three masked intruders and forced to tap into brutal survival instincts to make it through the night.
