Roger Friedman of “Fox News” recently caught up with alterna-Beard George Lucas and he mentioned an interest in bringing Indy back for another adventure after INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL. In this one, however, young Shia LeBeouf would take center stage. Says Monsieur Beard: “I haven’t even told Steven or Harrison this. But I have an idea to make Shia [LeBeouf] the lead character next time and have Harrison [Ford] come back like Sean Connery did in the last movie. I can see it working out.” Well, Georgie, you’d be the only one. What is it with The Beef that’s got Lucas and Steven Spielberg all giddy like schoolgirls? Whatever it is, be prepared for INDIANA JONES AND THE BEING REPLACED BY THE EVEN STEVENS KID. Read more of what Lucas had to say at the above link. Indy goes at it with Cate Blanchett on May 22nd.
