North Wind blows in

JoBloJoBlo

Davis Entertainment (no relation) has brought ALIEN vs. PREDATOR and I, ROBOT to life, but now they’re chilling in the frozen wasteland of… Los Angeles.

The production company has grabbed Boom! Studios’ new post-apocalyptic comic series NORTH WIND, and has the book’s writer David DiGilio already working on the script. The futuristic story (sort of WATERWORLD meets THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW) takes place in a California besieged by the arctic temperatures of the next ice age, and follows the remaining members of society as they struggle for food, fur and freedom.

DiGilio already has some subzero experience — he penned the Paul Walker hit EIGHT BELOW. The adaptation of NORTH WIND (which you can check out for free online RIGHT HERE) will be produced by Boom! fellows Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie, who have several other titles in the works for feature treatment including TALENT, THE FOUNDATION and TAG.
