Long time “Stargate: SG1” General, Beau Bridges, has joined the cast of MAX PAYNE, Fox’s currently filming adaptation of the gloriously violent video game of the same name. The story centers on the titular DEA agent and his relentlessly brooding pursuit of the sociopath who killed his partner and family. Mark Wahlberg stars as the impossibly somber Payne. Bridges will be playing B.B. Hensley, a former cop and mentor to Payne who helps him track down the killer. Also along for the exagerated metaphor-laced manhunt is Mila Kunis, who plays Mona Sax, a hottie assassin also aiding Payne in his revenge-fueled endeavor. Bridges can currently be seen in the “SG1” TV movie THE ARK OF TRUTH and has the comedy DIRTY POLITICS coming up.
