RocknRolla stuff

JoBloJoBlo

There is no doubt in my mind that even the title for this movie blows, ROCKNROLLA is going to be Guy Ritchie’s triumphant return to form. After REVOLVER and the movie that shall not be named before that, Ritchie absolutely needs a cool flick to put him back in the graces. MTV caught up with Thandie Newton recently to talk to her about her role in the movie: “I was the only girl for miles around. I thought I’d have to struggle to be a woman in that scenario… [But] Guy was so open to me having ideas.” She said. In the film, she plays an “accountant who becomes more and more crooked as the story goes on… I think [Guy] was surprised at how dirty I played this character. I just kept pushing it and he loved it.” It sounds like it’s going to be Ritchie’s usual schtick with gangsters and criminals, with people hitting each other and calling each other ‘pedigree chums’. Gerard Butler, Jeremy Piven, Tom Wilkinson and Ludacris also star.
