International posters for Hollywood films are usually exponentially better than their American counterparts but this French poster for the George Clooney starring legal thriller MICHAEL CLAYTON that the folks at Clooney Studio recently uncovered, well, isn’t. Maybe because there’s something “soft core porn” about it but it’s just not particularly right.
In it, Clooney stars as an in-house “fixer” of a powerful New York law firm who, of course, becomes embroiled in a possibly life-threatening ordeal. BOURNE series scribe Tony Gilroy writes and directs so there’s gotta be something worth watching here, even if Clooney looks like he’s scouring the big bad city for some hot ass ‘tang to tap. The film opens October 5th.
