Grunberg joins Cloverfield

JoBloJoBlo

I was under the impression that CLOVERFIELD was gonna be shot with a bunch of unknowns, but then again, how much do we really know about this thing? For all we know, there isn’t even really a film, the whole hoopla is just one big PUNK’D and Ashton Kutcher is gonna burst into the room any moment. Still, in case this is a real flick, we’re reporting that Greg Grunberg (HEROES) has been cast in it.

“It’ll probably be something where no one will be able to tell it’s me,” he said. “As you know, J.J. calls me his good-luck charm, so he’s got to put me in there somewhere. I actually went to the set the other night, and it was really exciting and cool. The budget is not astronomical. But they’re doing incredible things.”

I’m kinda so-so about HEROES, but I hope Grunberg can recapture some of the magic he showed us when he featured in BASEKETBALL.
