Some of the funniest stuff in THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN spilled from Seth Rogen’s mouth, but can he carry a film? We’re gonna find out if the Apatow connection can push Rogen to a similar superstar status as Steve Carell when KNOCKED UP arrives this summer.
The movie, as the title succinctly claims, involves an average guy who impregnates a girl (Katherine Heigl of GREY’S ANATOMY and ZYZZYX ROAD) on a one night stand, and then has to contend with the result of his enthusiastic seed. Additional comic relief is provided by Paul Rudd and Alan Tudyk.
