Director Tony Jopia's killer rabbit opus CUTE LITTLE BUGGERS is a film we've been aware of for quite a while. We first reported on it in mid-2013, at which time a June 2014 release was expected. While there is still no solid release date scheduled, the film now has a new trailer to take a gander at, along with a poster that is being called the final poster.

With a cast that includes legendary scream queen Caroline Monroe, CUTE LITTLE BUGGERS tells the following story:

When hostile aliens crash land on local farmland the villagers at the summer ball get suspicious when young women start going missing. The villagers soon band together around our hero Melchoir to fend off the invaders and bring back peace to the sleepy English countryside!

Garry Charles and Andy Davie wrote the screenplay. Monroe's co-stars include Kristofer Dayne, Gary Martin, Tim Hope, John R. Walker, Sara Dee, Angela Holmes, Lydie Misiek, Samar Sarila, Eryl Lloyd Parry, Carlos Paginton, Stu Jopia, and Liam W. Ashcroft.

The special effects may not be the most mind-blowing, but CUTE LITTLE BUGGERS still looks like good fun to me. The film has received positive reactions from potential distributors, so here's hoping it will get out into the world before much longer. We'll keep you updated on any developments.
