The newest promo for American Horror Story season ?6 is entitled "Anthology" for good reason. It's a look back through the previous five themes that ends with a flurry of clips from the mysterious new teasers, only one of which actually reflects the theme of the upcoming season.
I like how playful they're getting with the reveal here, which makes me think they're actually attempting to do something new with the show. However, this teaser, while fun, is a reminder of how much better the marketing material tends to be than the actual seasons. So it's with trepidation that I approach the mystery. Fingers crossed that it's Roanoke. Or, I don't know, at least not a hospital. Ryan Murphy seems to really love hospitals.
