GODZILLA RESURGENCE has dropped a new TV spot, and it reunites the kaiju with Tokyo, his favorite stomping ground. Literally.
It's a fun promo featuring even more footage of widescale destruction, but don't be fooled by the date. The promo announces a release on August 25th, but that's in the Hong Kong, Singapore, and Phillipines regions. Godzilla is set to crush American theaters at a later date in 2016.

GODZILLA RESURGENCE is directed by Shinji Higuchi (ATTACK ON TITAN) and Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion) from a script by Anno. It stars Satomi Ishihara, Hiroki Hasegawa, and Yutaka Takenouchi.
