Cool Horror Videos: The Chickening is insane and indescribable

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I guess this happens every once in a while; some inspired, crazed short takes the internet by storm, uniting us in its lunacy. I’m talking TOO MANY COOKS, KUNG FURY… and now THE CHICKENING.

THE CHICKENING debuted last year at Fantastic Fest and apparently blew the gobsmacked audience away. Made by Toronto-based filmmakers Nick DenBoer and Davy Force, the short was a proof-of-concept the duo pitched to studios in an effort to get a TV show off the ground. It’s described as a “Classic Film Remix” but I don’t think that even scratches the surface of what’s transpiring here.

THE CHICKENING runs about 5-minutes-long, but originally it was meant to be 22. I don’t know if it would be possible to sit through 22 minutes of this craziness, 5 is enough to drive you bonkers.
