We’ve known it’s been real for a while, but now it’s really real! Mulder and Scully are back in business, as evidenced by the creation of an official X-Files Twitter page and a recent tweet showing the two paranormal protagonists on set.

In the image below you’ll see stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson on a soundstage, while series showrunner Chris Carter looks on. Spoiler alert: Mulder and Scully ride in the back of a car at some point in the new season!!!

The series is currently shooting its six-episode revival in Vancouver; Mitch Pileggi and Joel McHale are also in the cast, but much of what’s transpiring has been kept carefully under wraps. That’s probably just as well.

The X-Files returns in January 2016.
