Before I Wake

Last week we saw the trailer debut for Mike Flanagan’s follow-up to OCULUS, as BEFORE I WAKE delivered a chilling first look at the nightmare-fueled thriller starring THE MIST’s Thomas Jane. I love the entire concept of the film, infesting a home with soul-stealing demons conjured up by a kid's nightmares. The whole realm of dreams gives Flanagan an endless canvas to come up with some pretty twisted stuff, so let's hope he does just that. Check out the stills below and if you missed the trailer, you can watch it HERE.

What it’s about:

In this intense and heart-pounding supernatural thriller, Jessie (Bosworth) and Mark (Jane) decide to take in a sweet and loving 8-year-old boy, Cody. Unbeknownst to them, Cody is terrified of falling asleep. At first they assume his previous unstable homes caused his aversion to sleep but soon discover why: Cody’s dreams manifest in reality as he sleeps. In one moment they experience the incredible wonder of Cody’s imagination and in the next the horrific nature of his night terrors. To save their new family, Jessie and Mark embark on a dangerous hunt to uncover the truth behind Cody’s nightmares.

BEFORE I WAKE stars Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, Dash Mihok, and introducing Jacob Tremblay as Cody.
