Cool Horror Videos: Arnold Schwarzenegger meets the Crypt Keeper!

Don’t ask what made me think of this today… I guess I was just reminiscing about “Tales from the Crypt”, my favorite show when I was a young boil, and I suddenly recalled that Arnold Schwarzenegger not only directed an episode (a very well-made entry called “The Switch), but he appeared in the prologue with old Crypty himself!

It’s a brief moment, but an amusing one. More than anything it serves as a reminder how goddamn cool “Tales from the Crypt” was. The likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Hanks, Michael J. Fox, Joe Pesci, Demi Moore – the list goes on and on – would appear in this gruesome, frequently obscene show just for laughs. Wouldn’t happen nowadays, I can guarantee you that.
