The EVIL DEAD remake has been gathering bucketfuls of positive buzz since it debuted at SXSW; it has also enjoyed praise on its current college tour. If you want a bit of proof of the kind words the movie has been receiving, take a look at the new poster that has popped up, which features accolades like “Simply Astonishing” and “Utterly and Astoundingly Awesome.” Now those are words you can take to the bank. Unfortunately it’s a small offering, no HQ version available just yet.

Oh yes, I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that chainsaw Jane Levy is toting. Pretty goddamn cool.

In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

EVIL DEAD opens on April 5th.
