With the much anticipated release of the Fede Alvarez directed remake of EVIL DEAD creeping up on us, FilmDistrict and TriStar have revealed a sort of new poster for the flick. Sony toyed a bit with the original teaser one-sheet by moving some of the wording and changing up the color to the oh so appropriate red.

In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
EVIL DEAD, the film that launched the careers of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell will be directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore and Jessica Lucas. The soul swallowing begins on April 5th! Get a peak at the poster below.
