The Barn Part III is moving from the festival circuit to physical media, with Blu-ray and VHS pre-orders now available through Scream Team Releasing. The third and intended final installment in Justin M. Seaman’s retro horror trilogy has also picked up numerous awards during its festival run, including multiple wins for its practical special effects.
The film has screened at genre festivals including Fright Fest, Popcorn Frights, Panic Fest, Salem Horror Fest, Smodcastle Horror Fest, GenreBlast, Crimson Screen, Sitges, and others. Among its awards are Best Feature Film at GenreBlast and Requiem Fear Fest, Best Director for Seaman at NJ Horror Con, Best Cinematography for Zane Hershberger at NJ Horror Con, Best Poster Design for Mariano Mattos at Days of the Dead, Best Underground Horror Feature Film at Dead Walk Fest, Best Gore at Shriek Show Film Fest, and Best Kill at Requiem Fear Fest.
The movie’s practical effects have been particularly well received. The Barn Part III has won Best Special FX at Smodcastle Horror Fest, Crimson Screen, GenreBlast, Houston Horror Film Festival, and Days of the Dead. The practical gore effects were created by Cody Ruch and Samantha Sanford.
Now, The Barn Part III is coming home on Blu-ray and VHS, with pre-orders available through Scream Team Releasing. The release includes four different Blu-ray cover variants, a limited-edition slip cover option, and signed editions featuring members of the cast and crew. The current listings have the physical releases scheduled to ship in mid-October 2026.
The signed editions feature genre favorites including Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), Kelli Maroney (Chopping Mall), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), William Ragsdale (Fright Night), and Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th), along with Seaman and other members of the cast and crew.

What is The Barn Part III about?
It’s been years since anything spooky has happened in Helen’s Valley, and for good reason. Josh Harper (Courtney Gains, Children of the Corn) has dedicated his life to making sure the barn-dwelling monsters from hell never return to threaten the town or his sister, Heather (Kelli Maroney, Chopping Mall). But something far more sinister is lurking in the shadows, determined to resurrect the legend once again. As the darkness closes in, Josh must confront the horrors he’s spent years trying to keep buried.
Also starring Tristan Olsen and Amanda Byrne, alongside horror icons William Ragsdale (Fright Night), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), and John Kassir, the voice of the Crypt Keeper from Tales from the Crypt.

Seaman has been developing The Barn series as a love letter to the practical-effects-driven horror of the 1980s and ’90s. He had this to say about wrapping up the trilogy:
