A&E announced today that its PSYCHO prequel series “Bates Motel” will premiere on MARCH 18th at 10 p.m. ET. Check out the trailer below!
“Bates Motel” will give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates’ psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn firsthand how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.
The series launches with the pilot episode titled “First You Dream, Then You Die.” “Bates Motel” stars Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Nestor Carbonell, Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke, Nicola Peltz and Mike Vogel.
“Bates Motel” is produced by Universal Television for A&E Network. Carlton Cuse (“Lost”) and Kerry Ehrin (“Friday Night Lights”) serve as executive producers for Carlton Cuse Productions.
