Ready for even more undead shenanigans? Then you’ll be pleased to know that there is yet another zombie film in the works, one that falls into the comedy category – because those shambling corpses provide a never-ending supply of laughs and amusement.

The project in question is called LIFE AFTER BETH, and it stars John C. Reilly and hot comic Aubrey Plaza. The Guardian.co.uk recently broke the news of the film, which is being directed by Plaza’s boyfriend Jeff Baena (she calls it “a really fucked-up movie”), although details are scant at the moment.

The flick appears to be based upon the UK short of the same name, which you can watch below. I’m assuming the film will expand on the short’s simple “dance with a zombie” premise; perhaps it’s about the domestic relationship between a girl and her undead partner?

We’ll keep an eye on BETH and let you know what she does and how she does it when the time is right.
