This is the first we’re reporting on EL ECO DEL MIEDO (aka, THE ECHO OF FEAR), unfortunately, but I’m sure it won’t be the last. (How long until the inevitable remake is announced?) The Spanish-language chiller provides plenty of eerie atmosphere in its trailer, which you can watch below, and I’m sure the film as a whole offers plenty more.

Directed by Sam Reyes, EL ECO DEL MEIDO goes like this: A woman and a little girl have to spend two nights in an old, house that is falling into pieces. Sounds at night and shadows accompanied with threatening echoes emerging from darkness are constant in the house. Will they be able to undergo the situation and solve the enigma that surrounds the presence that still rounds the house?
