HBO is in the process of drumming up some anticipation for their original movie, THE GIRL, which takes a look at the strained (to say the least) relationship that took place between director Alfred Hitchcock and actress Tippi Hedren as they made THE BIRDS. Last week we got a look at the first teaser, and now a second one has made itself available. Watch it below.

Toby Jones has the voice of Hitch down pat, although of course he doesn’t exactly look like him. Some suspension of disbelief will be in order, but wasn’t that what The Master of Suspense all about? Meanwhile, Sienna Miller is a luscious Ms. Hedren..

Premiering on HBO on OCTOBER 20th, THE GIRL goes like this: Alfred Hitchcock was at the height of his fame and creativity when, in 1962, he chose an unknown fashion model to star in his most ambitious film – The Birds. But as he sculpted Tippi Hedren into the perfect Hitchcock blonde of his imagination, he became obsessed with the impossible dream of winning the real woman’s love. His failure arguably destroyed both of their careers.
