Mookie and Senor Love Daddy reunite…

Old-school collaborators Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson are once again teaming up, this time for the remake of Chan-wook Park’s OLDBOY. Word is Jackson will have a small but vital role as the man who is being tortured by the hero (Brolin) in a key revenge scene (think hammer claw to the teeth). According to the L.A. Times, Bruce Hornsby has also joined the production as the films composer.

Set for a Louisiana and New York shoot this fall – the new OLDBOY centers on:

An everyday man who has only five days and limited resources to discover why he was imprisoned in a nondescript room for 15 years without any explanation.

Josh Brolin, Sharlto Copley and Elizabeth Olsen (below) also star.
