“Game of Thrones” and “The Tudors” cutie Natalie Dormer is taking off those frilly dresses and stepping into something a little more modern as she negotiates to join Ridley Scott’s THE COUNSELOR. This movie keeps on piling them in!

Dormer joins a packed cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, John Leguizamo, Dean Norris and Rosie Perez.

Written by Corman McCarthy, the bloody noir/western concerns a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who attempts to make some easy money in the drug business. Things quickly go awry, with devastating consequences for the counselor and his associates.

20th Century Fox, which will distribute the film, has not announced a release date.
