Here’s the first look at the long-awaited The Possession aka Dibbuck Box!

When a horror flick fights back to get it’s R rating down to a PG-13… something is wrong. That should never. Ever. Happen. Period. Yet Ole Bornedal’s THE POSSESSION did just that. And then it threw a brand new still at us like that’s supposed to make everything alright. Hey… maybe it does. Scroll on down below and take a look at the shot for yourself.

The film will follow Clyde Breneck and his 10-year-old daughter, Em, who purchases an antique box at a yard sale. With the box, Em accidentally releases an ancient spirit that has one goal: to devour her. Clyde must team work with his ex-wife to put an end to the curse.

No, not flying with me either. THE POSSESSION stars Kyra Sedgwick, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Agam Darshi (below), Natasha Calis and Madison Davenport. It will be hitting theaters on August 31st in all of it’s PG-13 glory.
