That’s right folks. A monster flick about a guy who turns into a giant mosquito. I’m talking about Michael Manasseri’s action/adventure sci-fi romp SUCKER!
Hard to believe we haven’t seen more of this kind of flick, you know, considering mosquitoes are blood-suckers after all. But alas we’ve got one now and here it is in all it’s glory. Alright, so we’ve only got some posters and a trailer for the thing so it isn’t much glory. The posters can be found to the right and directly below along with the trailer for SUCKER, which is also up over in our videos section.
Jim Crawley is having a really bad day. He gets fired from his job at the nuclear power plant, his car is impounded, and he discovers his wife having an affair. To make matters worse, Jim gets himself abducted by an evil scientist looking to conduct human testing for a vaccine against a deadly mosquito borne virus spreading across the planet. It turns out that years of exposure to nuclear radiation and rabid mosquito DNA don’t mix very well, and Jim transforms into a half-man/half-mosquito, hellbent on revenge. Sucker… payback’s an itch.
While no release date for SUCKER has been announced we do know it will star Lloyd Kaufman, Kimberley Kates, Monty Bane, Ricky Wayne, Jordan Trovillion and Danny Mooney.
