While buried deep in the Stealth Media Group website, I couldn’t help but notice a new horror/thriller the U.K. studio has in preproduction. The flick is called DARK PEAK, purported to be based on true events of aircrafts vanishing over a particular piece of land. Ben Jagger directs the film, from a script he wrote with Dean S. Jagger and Alistair Audsley. Check out the poster there in the margin, as well as the double logline we have for the flick below!

Based on true events. Since World War II, over 50 aircraft have disappeared. Some secrets are best left alone…

A group of hikers on Dark Peak encounter a terrifying, mysterious force and the one surviving member must convince his rescuers that something is very wrong.

Jack Huston (Twilight Zones, Eclipse, Outlander), Dean S. Jagger and Richard O’Brien (The Rocky Horror Show, Dark City) are attached to star thus far. DARK PEAK begins principal photography soon (Q1, 2012) and is expected to be delivered by the Q3 of 2012.

Huston’s TWILIGHT co-star, Ashley Greene
