Oh how I envy the punk in the PLUSH promo poster…fabricated or not, dude’s got his hand crammed down the panties of one Evan Rachel Wood. What I wouldn’t give…

While I revel in the reverie of all things Wood, I’ll have you know a new synopsis comes along with the promo look at Catherine Hardwicke’s latest…an erotic-thriller set in the L.A. music world. Boy I hope this sucker strays from Hardwicke’s last two, TWILIGHT and RED RIDING HOOD, dis-respectively.

After losing her band mate and brother to a drug overdose, rising rock star Hayley (Evan Rachel Wood) finds herself in a downward spiral. The second album from her band Plush is received as a critical and commercial disaster. But soon their collaboration crosses the line sexually and Hayley, who is married with two children, retreats from Enzo’s advances. Nice! Sounds like it’ll make a good double feature with Tony Kaye’s ATTACHMENT. I love these obsessed/stalker thrillers, and love Evan Rachel Wood even more. Not sure about you, but I’ll definitely be catching PLUSH when it comes around.
