We haven’t heard anything regarding Sergey Bodrov’s THE SEVENTH SON since July… That’s over seven months ago people.. And the thing is still casting! That can’t be a good sign…

According to Variety the latest name to join the upcoming exorcism romp is “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington. Well technically he’s in ‘final negotiations’ but we all know how that usually goes. Harington (above) will play the former apprentice of ‘Master Gregory,’ who will be played by Jeff Bridges.

Tom Ward, a young boy training to be an exorcist in the 1700’s, must learn how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches, and bind boggarts. Trouble begins when he’s tricked into releasing the most evil witch in the world.

Along with Bridges and potentially Harington, THE SPOOK’S APPRENTICE adaptation will also star Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander (below). Production on THE SEVENTH SON is set to kick off sometime this April so we can expect more on this one soon.
