Looking to prove it’s yet to jump the shark is “The Walking Dead,” returning to the airwaves February 12th. To this end, AMC has issued a fresh promo video for the hit zombie skein, and as you’ll see, it promises to ramp up the action and shed even more undead blood. Cop a peek underneath!

Car crashes, shovels to the dome, shotgun blasts, crossbows and blood-dripping faces…all can be seen in the new 30 second spot…most of which is comprised of new footage from the second half of the show’s second season. Most agree that the first and last episodes of season two were the best…let’s keep our fingers crossed Nicotero and the boys and keep the intensity of that last look intact from here and beyond. Otherwise, “The Walking Dead”, like so many TV shows, will have grown stale and tiresome.

Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Norman Reedus, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden (below), Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Lauren Cohen, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs and the rest all return February 12th.
