I can call her Liz, right? Nothing wrong with that…

With one coming off star-making, potential award-winning turn and another making his first foray into the world of horror, Elizabeth Olsen (below) and Daniel Radcliffe (right) are set to star in a new period-set thriller called KILL YOUR DARLINGS. Dane DeHaan and Jack Huston are also joining the Killer Films and Benaroya Pictures production.

Written and to be directed by John Krokidas – KILL YOUR DARLINGS tells the story of how a murder at Columbia University in 1944 brought together the young writers who would spark the Beat Revolution. Olsen will play Edie Parker, the wealthy art-student girlfriend of Jack Kerouac (Huston). Radcliffe will play Allen Ginsberg; Dehaan plays Lucien Carr, a classmate of Ginsberg’s for whom he develops feelings.

Hmm…a beatnik thriller huh…groovy man. I like the direction Olsen’s career is headed, but this Krokidas cat has only three shorts to his name. First timers are always hit or miss, but with the names attracted so far, the script must not be terrible. Right? Let’s be optimistic!
