I don’t know about the rest of you but I find it very hard to look at Daniel Radcliffe and take him seriously. First of all, all I see is ‘Harry Potter.’ Secondly, I thought the dude’s acting sucked in that shite, nevermind branching out to other flicks. But alas it is my sworn duty to bring you every piece of news in our beloved genre so that’s exactly what I’m going to do, regardless of my interest in said news.

With that being said, let’s get to today’s update: Some brand new goods from THE WOMAN IN BLACK! That’s right folks, Radcliffe’s first post-POTTER film just scored itself a brand new still and TV spot… and needless to say both are pretty boring. Don’t take my word for it though, just scroll on down below to take a look at the goods. The TV spot, titled “What Did They See,” can also be tapped over in our videos section.

The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

Coming from director James Watkins, THE WOMAN IN BLACK stars Radcliffe, Shaun Dooley, Cathy Sara, Mary Stockley, Roger Allam, Liz White, Lucy May Barker, Tim McMullan, Alisa Khazanova, Daniel Cerqueira, David Burke and Victor McGuire. It’s due to hit theaters on February 3, 2012 so expect more goods from this one as we get closer to it’s release.
