Take “a role to die for” in Micah Levin’s Saw like torture flick Opus

So a few days ago we heard rumblings out of Lionsgate brass that the SAW franchise may still be alive after-all. As easy to see coming as that was, I wonder how the news will effect Micah Levin’s trap-and-torture imitation, a flick we’re just hearing about called OPUS.

With our acquaintance with OPUS comes a look at the trailer and promo art for the film. Certainly a low-budget effort, but it still looks like it has enough going for it to give it a watch when it eventually comes out. Cop a dose below and see if you agree!

From the producer who brought you ‘Virtuosity’, ‘The Lawnmower Man’ and the IMAX smash hit ‘T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous’, we present to you our newest thriller OPUS. In the vein of ‘Saw’, we follow eight actors who submit videos to be cast in a horror film, only to discover that the action is all too real. As they are picked off one by one, minds start to wonder if the elusive director is creating his greatest masterpiece yet.

Lola Blanc, Demarkes Dogan, Carolyn Jania, Dylan Moore, Brian R. Norris, Arielle Ramos, Mikhail Roberts and Nate Scholz all appear in the film.
