I’m not going to lie… I’ve missed the past couple episodes of “The Walking Dead.” Sleep just got the better of me I suppose. I know, I know… it’s no excuse. But I have caught up! Just yesterday in fact… And wow…

Wow indeed. But according to “Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus, who plays the ever badass ‘Daryl’ on the show, we haven’t seen anything yet! You see the guys over at Daemon TV recently had a chance to chat it up with Reedus (right). Now they touched upon a number of topics, including Reedus’ photography and his desire to guest star on “Arrested Development,” but mainly they stook to “The Walking Dead.” When asked what the second half of Season 2 has in store for us, Reedus responded:

“I can say that in the second half, after this hiatus, people are done talking. It’s all kind of firecrackers from here on out. It gets more action packed. The first part of the season, it gets slow when people have to talk. That’s just how it works. I think the writers have done such a great job with setting up storylines and explaining them when they need to be explained, not over talking it and not over thinking it. There are certain things that need to be said to keep the story moving and I think they’ve done a good job with it. I know when people watch the show they go, ‘More zombies. More death.’ But you have to do a bit of talking. Otherwise it’s ‘Transformers.’”

Sounds good to me! The talented actor also talks about the mid-season finale, his character and a number of other things. Just pop right on over HERE to check out the whole interview.

“The Walking Dead” is set to return to AMC on February 12, 2012 at 9 PM with Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden (below), Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Lauren Cohen, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs and the rest of our rag-tag group of zombie killers.
