Well ladies and gents, he’s at it again.
Rocker-slash-filmmaker Rob Zombie has once again taken to his Facebook page to treat us all to a little update on his upcoming THE LORDS OF SALEM. Now much like Zombie’s other updates, this one isn’t really worth getting excited about but if you’re digging the flick so far it’s definitely worth a look-see.
No reason to beat around the bush anymore, the newest update from the flick comes in the form of a brand new behind the scenes shot that seems to be bathed in eery blue light. Check out Zombie’s description of the shot:

Works for me! Along with Quinn, Geeson and Wallace the flick is also set to star Sid Haig, Bruce Davidson, Christopher Knight, Ken Foree, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, John Five, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Sheri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Ernest Thomas, Barbara Crampton, Michael Shamus Wiles, Brandon Cruz and Jeff Daniel Phillips.
Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the “Big H Radio Team”.
A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, “a gift from the Lords”. She assumes it’s a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.
Later Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.
The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H Team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for BLOOD.
Considering THE LORDS OF SALEM is still without a release date I’d be willing to bet we’ll be getting a lot more pointless goods from the flick in the near future. As always as soon as that shite drops you can bet we’ll be right here telling you about it.
