Is Sony Pictures already working on a sequel to James Wan’s Insidious?!

As if we didn’t see this one coming…

It seems Sony Pictures may be planning on moving forward with a sequel to 2010’s hit genre flick INSIDIOUS. The news comes from the site Fusible, who cite some domain registrations from Sony Pictures as their source. Understandably so considering those doman names are Insidious2movie.com, Insidious2.net and Insidious2-movie.net.

Now Sony could just be thinking ahead here just in case, so I wouldn’t read too much into this until we hear something solid. Though considering how profitable INSIDIOUS ended up being I’d say it’s a no-brainer to greenlight a sequel, whether we want it or not. Hell if James Wan is on board I’d be down. Unfortunately there’s no telling if Wan, scribe Leigh Whannell or stars Rose Byrne (below) and Patrick Wilson will be along for INSIDIOUS 2 at this time. Like I said… there’s no telling if INSIDIOUS 2 is even along for INSIDIOUS 2 at this time.

As always you can be sure we’ll be keeping an eye out for any potential INSIDIOUS 2 updates that might come our way, and as soon as they do we’ll be right here telling you about them.
